Artem and Maria is from Kiev, Ukraine. They met in Kiev State College of Circus and Variety Arts in 2005 and start performed together since 2007. They are professional circus performers with a huge experience of performing all over the world and mostly at cruise ship lines! Name of this couple — «Duo Konchakovsky» was token from a family dynasty Konchakovsky.
Artem was born in a famous Ukrainian circus family of Liliana and Aleksandr Konchakovsky and was trained by his parents from five years old. He become a circus performer at very young age. He was trained professionaly in sport acrobatics as hand to hand base acrobat; he is a candidate master of sports. Also he was trained in hand to hand acrobatic, juggling, aerial silks and straps for five years in pre-professional circus school «Arsenal» which has produced many great professional artists. Then, he studied and graduated from Kiev State College of Circus and Variety Arts in 2006 as professional acrobat. In 2002, he won silver medal at Moldova Delphic Games with duo hand to hand act. In 2004, he won gold at the Ukrainian festival «Junior circus of Ukraine» with duo hand to hand act.
Maria is from a musician family, so at the age of five she was trained by her mom as a vocalist and studied violin and piano at musician school. While she focused on music, she also studied classical ballet at dance school . From nine years old Maria went to study at the pre-professional circus school «Junior» for five years, where she was trained by USSR «Honored Artist» Yuriy Yakovlevich Kostyliov as aerialist and contrtonist. She decided to be a professional circus performer so went on to study at Kiev State College of Circus and Variety Arts, graduating in 2007 as a professional aerial gymnast.
Artem and Maria are multi skilled performers. For many years of working together they have performed in various disciplines and acts as — Duo Aerial Silks, Duo Aerial Straps, Duo and Solo Aerial Lyra, Duo Hand to Hand Acrobatics, Solo and Pass Juggling, Fitballs Acrobatics with Juggling, Quick Change Act, Cyr wheel and The Bubbles Show «Sudz, LED’s Bubble». Also they are the owners and performers of one of their biggest product is «The Addams Show» that was created a specially for them by talented team «The Hands Production».
